The case of reusing and upgrading existing buildings is an extremely interesting and important study subject as it breathes new life into old building shells. The reusing and upgrading of existing buildings can act as a starting point for redefining the relationship of the building with the surrounding space, the wider region and the city. In contrast to the conventional approach, the integrated approach we pursue uses energy upgrading as a starting point and lever for the aesthetic and functional improvement of the building and at the same time the improvement of the environmental conditions that are formed inside it. This is a human-centered approach to energy upgrading. We utilize new technologies and use special tools and equipment with the aim of evaluating the indoor climate, diagnosing problems and linking energy consumption with the use of the building.
